365 Templates Pack

At the beginning of the year, the online scrapbook community launched an idea called "Project 365." To my understanding the goal is to take at least one photo a day and scrapbook it/them. Since I didn't join the digital scrapbook world until April, I didn't get involved. But, the project does make for some really cool kits and templates. I love the project 365 templates because they are designed for multiple photos. Laurie has just released a new set of Project 365 templates over at Laurie's Scraps.

There are four new templates in this set and I love them because they are so versatile. For one of my layouts I used the template pretty much as-is. I used a kit of Laurie's called "Stars and Stripes."

For the second I turned the template and altered it a bit by moving the photo block off to one side instead of being smack dab in the middle of the page. I think I will find myself using these templates a lot. For this one I used (mainly) the October blog train from Enchanted Studio Scraps called "Fall-O-Ween." The alpha comes from Designs by Sarah.

Catch-Up

I have been trying to take some time and catch up on my scrapbooking. I am determined not to fall behind on my current book! If I can keep up from here on out, then maybe I can go back and work on years past. So, since my CT work has been a little slow the past week I have been doing some more personal pages. Here are a few for your viewing pleasure.

Spooks

Halloween is less than three weeks away. I am so excited! My boys' costumes are done, now all I have to do is buy candy and pray for good weather. Cara at Sweet Tomato Design is releasing a Halloween kit today. It is more elegant kit, called "Spooks."

I love the black and white papers, especially the damask one. I think it'll be used for more than just Halloween designs at this house.

Here is your quickpage, Enjoy, and leave some love!

Woof!

Happy Monday everyone! Boy, do I have an awesome kit for you today. It is another Tempus Fugit kit. This is Doris' newest and it is called "Woof!"

I love the dog we have and the ones we have had in the past. We are "pug people." We have had three pugs over the last 8 years and they are the perfect dog for us. Right now we have a 5-year old black pug name Oliver, whom we've had for almost a year. Our last pug, Max, passed away a year ago and he is very missed. We had Max before we had kids, so we were very attached to him. I finally scrapped a page for Max with this new kit.

This layout was chosen for the December 2009 scraplift challenge over at STS!

Here is your freebie for today - a "Woof" quickpage.

The Autumn Series

Today I'm showing off another kit from Tempus Fugit. This kit is called "The Autumn Series."

One thing I love about Doris' kits is that they are chock-full of amazingly detailed elements and papers. I adore all of the vintage bits and pieces as well as the natural elements she includes. As far as clustering goes, her variety of elements are right up my alley! Here are two layouts I did with this kit:

Gone Camping

I love to camp. I wish I could spend more time camping - and I would had I the funds and my husband the time off work! I am always on the lookout for woodsy kits to scrap our photos. Laurie over at Laurie's Scraps released a new kit yesterday called "Gone Camping" and it is exactly the kind of camping kit I like.

I love the natural leaf and twig elements and the awesome stitches. The camping stickers are pretty cute too, and the papers?? Adorable! Love it! It is 30% off right now too. So go grab it and scrap all that summer fun.
Here is what I did with it:

Hope, Dreams, Fears

Announcement day! I am excited to tell you that I will be joining the CT over at Tempus Fugit. I love Doris' work - she has so many fun vintage elements in her kits. Very shabby chic. I have been working with three of her kits. Today I am highlighting her newest one - "Hope, Dreams, Fears."

This huge kit is full of soft colors and it has an awesome word art pack with it. It would be perfect for weddings, babies, or pages about your hope, dreams and fears. Here are the pages I did with it:

This page was featured in "Made Ya Look Monday" over at Faith Sisters!

Here is your QP. I will be highlighting two more of her kits in the coming week so be sure to stop by!

Give Thanks

I am having a hard time getting into the swing of Fall. The 40 degree drop in temperature yesterday helped a little, though I could have done without the walk to school in the cold rain. I am liking all the Halloween kits coming out right now! They are so cute. But Thanksgiving already? Andrea you are worse that Walmart! LOL The latest from Scraps by Andrea is the mini-kit "Give Thanks" that she released Monday with "Falling For You Again."

The kis has some darling pilgrim and indian folks, as well as a nice color scheme. I had a really hard time trying to scrap Thanksgiving pictures when it is only the first of October. Here is what I came up with:

Nothing fabulous, but I made it into a QP for you anyway. Here you go:
