Mother Love

Drat! I have totally been a slacker on my scrapping! I have gotten caught up in a new venture that is taking a lot of my free time. I am catching up now, and things are returning to a normal pace. 

I do have  new kit to share with you today though. It is called "Mother Love" and it is another collab from Tempus Fugit and NBK.

Wouldn't it be great to have a page or two in your scrapbook about your Mom or Grandma? As much as my boys like to look at my scrapbooks, I would like to have something in their about their grandparents for them to read.

Focus

Cara is releasing a brand new collab today over at Sweet Tomato Designs. It is called "Focus" and she collaborated with Page Frocks and Heather Hess Designs to bring you this masterpiece!

I love all of the photography elements in the kits. It is a great kit for all of those photos you take "just because." Heather is a new designer and I absolutely LOVE the blue and gray alpha she included in her portion of the kit!

Vintage Easter

Easter is this weekend! How crazy is that? Wasn't Christmas just yesterday?! As crazy as it is how fast time flies, I am glad that it is beginning to warm up. I can't wait for warmer weather! I'm hoping it is good weather for Easter activities this weekend with my boys. Also, I'm thinking about having a super-special freebie to celebrate my first blog anniversary next month. Any requests?

Celebrate!

Sweet Tomato Designs is celebrating it's Blog-o-versary. And to celebrate Cara designed a cute party kit called "Celebrate."

Here is the page I did with it. I got a great candle-blowing action shot of my four-year old on his birthday earlier this month.

You Sham(Rock) my World

Ready for St. Patrick's Day yet? I remember last year at this time I was just getting into this whole digi-scrapping thing and was hunting for cute kits to fit the holiday. I wasn't too successful. Luckily, this year, Cara at Sweet Tomato Designs has me covered. She just completed a collab with Geek Chic Scraps for St. Patrick's Day and it is called "You Sham(Rock) my World".

Once again, the color scheme is yummy. It isn't your typical St. Patty's Day bright green. It is more subdued, but still fantastic for those layouts. It would also be great for other layouts too. Here is a 2-pager I did.

Oh Boy!

Doris over at Tempus Fugit released a new kit a week or so ago and I have been a total slacker in posting about it! It is especially bad because she told me she had me in mind when designing it. Wow! That is so cool, to have a kit be inspired by you. Okay, it wasn't me that she was thinking of - it was my three boys. The new kit is all about boys and is called "Oh Boy."

The kit comes with these awesome word arts and THREE alphas. How cool is that?

Here are the layouts I made with it. I also used some photo masks from Doris' new collection "Photo Negative Clipping Masks."

Finishing up 2009

I have been trying to get my scrapping from 2009 finished up. I still am waiting on a few photos from realtives (hint, hint Tammy), but I still have photos from Christmas to scrap, and this years' photos which are starting to pile up, so I'm not running out of photos. (Not to mention all the photos I have un-scrapped from the past 8 or so years...LOL). I do have a couple of layouts to share with you that I've done recently from 2009 and one from 2010.

Love Letters

Doris at Tempus Fugit is releasing a cute little FREE mini kit for Valentine's Day over at My Life and Scrap. It is called  "Love Letters".

I got to play with it a little and I made you all a free treat box using this kit and a template from JersGirl.

You could write a little love note on one side and a 'To: and From:' on the other. Happy Valentines Day!

There is an awesome collab kit for sale right now over at Scrap Orchard. It is called "One Love." 

Not only is it filled with amazing elements and papers from VERY talented designers, the profits from the sale of the kit go to Clinton Bush Haiti Fund for earthquake relief. The fund gives 100% of donations to earthquake relief and recovery. How cool is that? I don't buy kits very often, but I did buy this one. My baby just turned two. Two years old! I can't believe it. I have been on the hunt for cute birthday-themed kits to scrap his birthday pictures with. Luckily for me, Doris over at Tempus Fugit just released a new collab with NBK called "It's My Party!" and it's all about birthdays.

Wow! I have had 25,000 hits on the website since it launched back in June. Okay, it is almost 30,000 but I wanted to do a freebie for 25K and am just now getting it posted. Time Flies

Cara over at Sweet Tomato Designs is doing a guest designer spot this week at DigiDesignResort. She is giving you a coupon code to use on her DDR store, including her newest kit!

The new kit is called "Time Flies." It would be perfect for those of you doing Project 365 this year. I especially like the stitched heart border.

I used the kit to do a double page layout about a nephew who is leaving to serve a mission for our church. I can't believe he is old enough to do that! He was, like, 10 when my husband and I got married. Wow. So, here is my spread.
