Back in the Saddle

It's been a long time since I last blogged and I have been busy. I started a new business, Sugar: Cookies, Cakes & More. I had a baby boy (that brings us up to 4 boys now!). We renovated part of our house.  I have been doing a little scrapbooking, but I'm determined to not get (too far) behind on the baby's book, and to catch up on our family books. So, I will be sharing my pages on here from time to time. Here we go - to start, some baby pages!

Isn't he cute? I'm doing Jared's baby book by months, except for important events, or photos I think need their own page. I am including the write-ups I do about him every month from our family blog. I think I'll stick to the same basic layout elements for each month, to give some continuity to the book.

Mother Love

Drat! I have totally been a slacker on my scrapping! I have gotten caught up in a new venture that is taking a lot of my free time. I am catching up now, and things are returning to a normal pace. 

I do have  new kit to share with you today though. It is called "Mother Love" and it is another collab from Tempus Fugit and NBK.

Wouldn't it be great to have a page or two in your scrapbook about your Mom or Grandma? As much as my boys like to look at my scrapbooks, I would like to have something in their about their grandparents for them to read.

Focus

Cara is releasing a brand new collab today over at Sweet Tomato Designs. It is called "Focus" and she collaborated with Page Frocks and Heather Hess Designs to bring you this masterpiece!

I love all of the photography elements in the kits. It is a great kit for all of those photos you take "just because." Heather is a new designer and I absolutely LOVE the blue and gray alpha she included in her portion of the kit!

Vintage Easter

Easter is this weekend! How crazy is that? Wasn't Christmas just yesterday?! As crazy as it is how fast time flies, I am glad that it is beginning to warm up. I can't wait for warmer weather! I'm hoping it is good weather for Easter activities this weekend with my boys. Also, I'm thinking about having a super-special freebie to celebrate my first blog anniversary next month. Any requests?

Celebrate!

Sweet Tomato Designs is celebrating it's Blog-o-versary. And to celebrate Cara designed a cute party kit called "Celebrate."

Here is the page I did with it. I got a great candle-blowing action shot of my four-year old on his birthday earlier this month.
