Finishing up 2009

I have been trying to get my scrapping from 2009 finished up. I still am waiting on a few photos from realtives (hint, hint Tammy), but I still have photos from Christmas to scrap, and this years' photos which are starting to pile up, so I'm not running out of photos. (Not to mention all the photos I have un-scrapped from the past 8 or so years...LOL). I do have a couple of layouts to share with you that I've done recently from 2009 and one from 2010.

The Prince

Cara at Sweet Tomato Designs is releasing a darling new kit Wednesday. It is called "The Prince."

It was perfect for me, seeing as how I have three little princes running around. I dug up some newborn pictures of my youngest for my layout:

And I made it into a quickpage for you. Enjoy!

Love Letters

Doris at Tempus Fugit is releasing a cute little FREE mini kit for Valentine's Day over at My Life and Scrap. It is called  "Love Letters".

I got to play with it a little and I made you all a free treat box using this kit and a template from JersGirl.

You could write a little love note on one side and a 'To: and From:' on the other. Happy Valentines Day!

One Love

There is an awesome collab kit for sale right now over at Scrap Orchard. It is called "One Love."

Not only is it filled with amazing elements and papers from VERY talented designers, the profits from the sale of the kit go to Clinton Bush Haiti Fund for earthquake relief. The fund gives 100% of donations to earthquake relief and recovery. How cool is that? I don't buy kits very often, but I did buy this one. I used a few of the elements from that kit to make this page:

Give to a good cause, people, and buy the kit!

The kit includes 114 papers, 356 elements, 3 alphabets, 6 page templates and 1 hybrid template.

It's My Party!

My baby just turned two. Two years old! I can't believe it. I have been on the hunt for cute birthday-themed kits to scrap his birthday pictures with. Luckily for me, Doris over at Tempus Fugit just released a new collab with NBK called "It's My Party!" and it's all about birthdays.

I did a couple of layouts using his birthday photos. I am sure I will get many more out of this kit though. The whole Shoppe is on sale this week, so you can grab the kit for 25% off!

For your freebie I made a 5x7" "Thank You" card. Enjoy!

25,000 Hits!

Wow! I have had 25,000 hits on the website since it launched back in June. Okay, it is almost 30,000 but I wanted to do a freebie for 25K and am just now getting it posted. I created this word art for one of my recent personal layouts and wanted to share. I hope some of you can use it for your own little rock star!

Here is my layout using it:

Sharing Time!

I have been trying to finish up scrapbooking my photos from last year. Here are a few layouts that I've done in the past few days.

Time Flies

Cara over at Sweet Tomato Designs is doing a guest designer spot this week at DigiDesignResort. She is giving you a coupon code to use on her DDR store, including her newest kit!

The new kit is called "Time Flies." It would be perfect for those of you doing Project 365 this year. I especially like the stitched heart border.

I used the kit to do a double page layout about a nephew who is leaving to serve a mission for our church. I can't believe he is old enough to do that! He was, like, 10 when my husband and I got married. Wow. So, here is my spread.

And here is your freebie.

I Heart You

The first new kit of the new year! There is a beautiful new kit over at Tempus Fugit, just released this past Saturday, called "I Heart You." It is sort of a Valentine's Day kit, though not the typical red, pink and white color scheme. This kit has a lot of blue in it and I love it!

It was perfect for the pages I wanted to do about my cousin getting engaged on New Year's Eve.

Here's your first freebie of the new year from me! Also be sure to head over to Doris' blog for a free coordinating photo mask.

Catch Up

I just wanted to share some pages I've been working on lately. I have cut back to being on only 2 creative teams, so I have more time now for my own scrapbooking. Will someone tell that to my kids?

This Golden Christmas Night

There is a beautiful new kit over at Tempus Fugit that you all need to check out. It is called "This Golden Christmas Night."

See?! Isn't it gorgeous? I love the red and gold colors and all the glittery elements. I had a wonderful time doing a couple of layouts with this kit.

Here is a freebie QP for you. Merry Christmas!

Template Set 4

There is an excellent set of new templates over at Laurie's Scraps that was released recently. It is the fourth set she has released, hence the name "Template Set 4."

Laurie's is another CT that I am leaving. I still may join her for a kit here or there, but I have to cut back. Here are the pages I did with her new template set:

And, I made a cluster frame freebie for you. It is made from the collab Laurie did with Pure Creativity Designs this Autumn, called "Autumn Air."

I Believe

Our boys visited with Santa this past weekend. The two oldest are totally into the whole Santa idea, the youngest... not so much! He pretty much freaked out when we put him on Santa's lap. They all do the first time, right?

I used the newest kit from Sweet Tomato Designs to scrap the photo of Evan on Santa's lap. It is called "I Believe."

I love the blue and red colors in this kit. It is such a nice switch from the traditional red and green usually associated with Christmas. Here is Evan, struggling to get away from Santa:

And a quickpage for your photos with Santa!

Baby on Board

Today I will be highlighting my last kit for Scraps by Andrea. It has been great working with Andrea. Hers was the first CT I joined and I have learned a lot, but it is time for me to trim down my CT duties and focus on other areas of my scrapbooking.

Today's kit is a cute kit for those expectant mothers out there. It is called "Baby on Board" and it comes in a boy or a girl version, and if you buy both you get a free neutral add on!

I used the kits to make a couple of layouts of my youngest when he was two weeks old. He turns two years old in a month. It is amazing how time flies!

(This layout was featured on  Made Ya' Look Monday over at Faith Sisters!)

Here is your freebie QP. Enjoy!
